EFCC did not arrest millions of Naira in White Castle Hotel, Kaduna

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, did not arrest millions of Naira in White Castle Hotel in Kaduna.
This is contrary to the narrative by PDP Vanguard that operatives of the anti-graft agency raided the Hotel and made away with Ghana-Must-go loaded with millions of Naira meant for vote buying. It was apparently insinuating APC into it.
A tweet by PDP Vanguard read: “Breaking: EFCC has raided a Hotel called White Castle in Nasir el-Rufai’s Kaduna and seized hundreds of millions of cash in new Naira notes. Good job EFFC (sic).”
The tweet was posted at 8.27 am on February 25, 2023 and had attracted 1,950 views 105 likes, 39 retreats, and 4 quotes as of the time of this report when it was munched.
But in a counter narrative believed to have been made by the APC camp, a WhatsApp message that has been doing the rounds said that whereas it was true that the EFCC operatives searched White Castle Hotel, they did not find money neither did they arrest anybody.
Read the unsigned and undated message in extenso: “Yes, it’s true that the EFCC searched White Castle Hotel. But they only saw Ghana Must go bags with wrappers. They found no money and arrested nobody. If they did they should post the pictures like they have posted of all the people moving money.”
