Eagle Square Events Ban: Buhari Govt Exhibiting Psychological Signs Of Defeat. – ANN.

One of Nigeria’s opposition parties, Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN, has revealed that the ban on all events by the management of the Eagle Square for the rest of year 2018 is one of the obvious signs of defeat being exhibited by the Buhari outgoing administration.

The spokesperson of the party, Akinloye Oyeniyi, pointed accusing finger at the presidency as the one behind the ban while reacting to the new development in Abuja Thursday evening.

In his words, Oyeniyi said ” It is no more news to all Nigerians how, and why Buhari’s government has been this hostile towards the people, the press, the legislature and judiciary, especially those with opposing views. Empirically, all those tyrannical and dictatorial actions at every particular time, are all hostile behaviours linked to experiences of failure and frustration exactly happening to the unpopular administration.

“We know this aggression is an effect of resultant frustration involving threats to the dying administration’s ego and 2019 dream, thereby causing its players to be hostile and mean to the citizens.

Going further, Oyeniyi said, “since the iconic Eagle Square was built, this is the first time duly paid for and allocated multiple events will be cancelled for this long with just verbal communication not minding the resources, time and schedules the allocatees have committed in the venue and other ancillary contents of their events. Apart from the infrastructural decay that the structure will witness and loss if huge revenue, how will the allocatees rearrange themselves and get another venue and production of electronic and print promotional materials carrying the new venues? We know that when a government out of fear of imminent defeat no longer have competent control over its outcome, that situation automatically will lead to aggression directed at the citizens and end up being violent to the them.
