Key Allegations Against the Detainees:
- Leadership roles within the Ansaru terrorist group.
- Financing terrorist operations within Nigeria.
- Recruiting individuals into the organization.
- Orchestrating and executing violent attacks across the country.
According to insider reports, the DSS has fast-tracked its investigations to pave the way for swift legal proceedings, while reaffirming its commitment to professionalism, due process, and the protection of human rights.
The suspects are expected to appear before the Federal High Court in Abuja in the coming days for formal arraignment.
