DETAILS OF LONDON MEETING BETWEEN Amaechi, DAKUKU, SAM SAM JAJA, IBIAMU, EMEKA AND OTHERS by Ayuba Steve

The indirect secret meeting conveyed by CRA in London hiding under invitation of Chatham House last weekend was targeted at obstructing and stopping Magnus Abe at all cost.

(1). CRA has directed the State Party Chairman and Emeka Beke to compile a list of ward and LGA EXCOs. He said plans have been perfected at the national to change some names in the ward and LGA EXCO list of Rivers State.

(2). CRA has told them that Dakuku Peterside will contest Governorship primary elections in Rivers State. This declaration was made after a serious question was thrown by Sam Sam Jaja and Ibiamu. CRA told them that Dakuku Peterside will resign by May of 2018 and contest for Governor. His reason is to conform to the earlier decision reached by stakeholders of APC in 2014 by the people of Riverine extract of South-East Senatorial district to produce the next Governor of Rivers State.

(3) CRA has begged The State Party Chairman to slow down his anger of working independently. He told him that he is not using Ngeregbara to do his work but engage him to help in mobilizing and building the party. He further told Ibiamu that everything in the party will be determined by him.

(4). He has directed the State Party Chairman to ensure that Dr. Dakuku is delivered in the primary elections coming up. That whatever decision giving to him must be carried out if he wants them to win. He further said if Dakuku wins, I will call for a reconciliation and unite every worrying faction and I know Magnus will not leave the party.

(5). Sam Sam Jaja has been given the task of reaching out and bringing elders of APC that will foster the smooth mobilization to deliver Dakuku. You people were asking who my candidate is, now I have told you, the rest work is yours.

(6). If Dakuku resigns, we will see what alternative can be use to empower Rivers people from NIMASA. Close your ears and work, you need Governor to survive here not NIMASA.

(7). Emeka Beke was commended for what he is doing in the party especially, by ensuring that certain decisions whether wrongly or rightly were carried out. CRA said you must work first before you complain.

(8). Ibiamu was blamed by CRA for acting outside his directives. “I can’t fund you and you drop my directives”. I don’t know whether Magnus is the one directing you”. But the Chairman said it will be wrong to act outside the party constitution with too much impunity which could be very devastating if they heed to one direction. “Magnus is not directing me and Iam not close to Magnus, but the problem is that funding of the party has been abandoned”.

(9). Amaechi told them that Magnus Abe is going no where and that he has solidified grounds to ensure the emergence of Dakuku Peterside hence President Buhari will get his second term ticket.

(10). CRA said Magnus Abe does not have money and all those people promising to help him will disappoint him if they know he will not get the ticket, I know them.

(11). Ibiamu is said to have opined that if he shows up of supporting Dakuku’s ambition, many of the party EXCOs will form a parallel leadership of their own. So he is gradually bringing them together to enable them be approachable.

(12). CRA has Dakuku to be funding Ibiamu and Emeka Beke as well as reaching out to other EXCOs that will play a vital role during primaries and an agreement of exonerating and not quoting him was reached.

(13). CRA said they should leave Buhari for him. “I know Buhari than any of you. I know what we are doing for him and I know what he will do. He is not the talking type”.

Finally, he said there may be congress or not. If there will be congress, I will tell you. But every body must step up his duty and responsibility. If we don’t win, we are in trouble.
