Denying the very definition of “restructuring” is Buhari’s greatest crime- Atiku

The Spokesperson of Atiku Presidential Campaign Office, Mr Segun Showunmi has reassured Nigerians that the stand of the former Vice President and presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar on restructuring is the one that is honest and absolute.

He spoke through a statement he personally signed on Sunday, saying that ” I reassure you that the stand of Atiku Abubakar on restructuring is honest and absolute.”

Showunmi added that: “I am in complete solidarity with anyone or group that believes in restructuring. I also note the recent decision of the Igbo Leaders of Thought (ILT) as led by Professor Ben Nwabueze.”

Speaking on the failure of the current administration in accepting the ideology of restructuring, he said: “President Muhammadu Buhari has failed the people of Eastern Nigeria. Denying the very definition of “restructuring” is his greatest crime, restructuring is key to national inclusiveness that can drive growth, peace and security needed in our dear Nigeria right now.”

Showunmi however reminded the people and elders of Eastern Nigeria that His Excellency Atiku Abubakar has been consistent on the issue of restructuring for over a decade now and would not renege on his intention to restructure our dear country Nigeria, if opportuned to be President, come 2019.

“Together we can have an all-inclusive Nigeria. Atiku means restructuring. Lets get Nigeria working again”, he added.
