COVID-19: Ekiti Taskforce Seals Off, Pharmacies, Supermarkets, Others
kiti Covid-19 Response Taskforce
has closed some institutions in Ado-Ekiti for violating various Covid-19 guidelines.
The institutions which include, pharmacies, supermarkets, Bar joints among others where shut on Friday following inspections by the team.
A statement by the coordinator of the Task Force, Prof Bolaji Aluko
listed the affected institutions as
- Chino Supermarket, Ikere Road
- Babatola Shopping Complex, Ikere Road
- NAO Supermarket, Adebayo Road
- Beta Life Pharmacy, Adebayo Road
- Twin Pharmacy, Fajuyi Area
- Prosperous Club
- Bana Place
- Peppersoup Joint opposite Ologede Police Station, beside Queen’s Court
He urged members of the public to ensure and advise that institutions that serve them obey the simple guidelines of usage of infra-red thermometers, functional water/sanitizer stands, mask-wearing by all staff and patrons, and social distancing within the premises.
