Breaking: Senator, Urhoghide from Edo State dumps PDP
The senator representing Edo South in the ninth Senate, Matthew Urhoghide, has defected from the People’s Democratic Party.
Urhoghide’s resignation is contained in a letter read by the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, who presided over the plenary on Wednesday.
However, the party he defected to was not stated in the letter.
