BREAKING: Peace Corps Commandant, Dickson Akoh released by Police

The Nigerian Police Force, NPF, has released the Commandant of Peace Corps, Dickson Akoh.

It would be recalled that Akoh was last week Tuesday arrested by police officers in conjunction with operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS,when they invaded the new national headquarters of the Corps.

Peace Corps, whose Bill was passed by the National Assembly, has recently come under assault by sister security agencies.

Following his arrest, Akoh was taken to the Force Headquarters were he was detained.

It was reliably gathered this afternoon that Akoh has been released and is on his way the Secretariat of the National Youth Council after he filled necessary documents for his release at the FCT Command headquarters.
