BREAKING! Herdsmen attack travellers on Abuja-Keffi Expressway

Some armed men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Wednesday, May 10, attacked travellers on the Abuja-Keffi Expressway.
The men, Punch reports carted away with mobile phones and money belonging to the travellers.
The incident occurred close to a village called Barde after Gidan Waya in Kaduna state at 10 am.
The village where the robbery incident took place is a few kilometres away from Jos, the capital city of Plateau state, between two police checkpoints.
It was also gathered that five of the robbers numbering about 10 were armed with dangerous weapons including guns and machetes.
They were said to have stooped vehicles on the Expressway, ordering passengers to lie face down while personal effects belonging to market women were taken away at gunpoint.
The gunmen were said to have fled into the bush when they saw some soldiers coming from Keffi.
