Breaking: Building Collapses in Abuja Hours After FCTA Seals Structure

A building has collapsed in Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, with emergency responders currently carrying out rescue operations at the scene.

The incident reportedly occurred about an hour ago, with men of the FCT Fire Service deployed to the location to search for possible victims and conduct rescue efforts.

Three ambulances have also been stationed at the scene as emergency services continue their response.

The collapse comes hours after officials of the FCT Administration’s Development Control Department reportedly sealed the building earlier on Monday and directed occupants to vacate the premises.

Details of possible casualties remain unclear as rescue operations are ongoing.
