BPP hosts orientation workshop for 97 Grade Levels 15-17 Procurement Officers posted to MDAs
The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) is organising an online orientation workshop for the deployed ninety-seven (97) Procurement Officers on Grade Levels 15-17 in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
A press release by Head of Press and Public Relations Unit of the BPP Mr Zira Zakka Nagga, said “This is in line with the directive of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed *Forces* of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation vide Ref no. PRES/36/HCSF/57/119/BPPP/4 dated May 13, 2025, endorsing the reversion of Mobility of Procurement Officers to BPP.”
The release stated further: “It is also a sequel to the directive of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) vide Ref. No.59780/S.2/B/570 dated December 9, 2025, on the implementation of the Presidential Directive, which reverted the Mobility and Career Management of Procurement Officers to the BPP.”
It said that the online workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10 am, was at the instance of the Director-General, Dr. Adebowale A. Adedokun, who would be presiding over the programme.
The release added: “The orientation workshop is part of efforts to enhance the capacity of the affected officers on effective procurement processes.
“Attendance is mandatory.
