Boko Haram: Adamawa confirms seven dead in attack on Madagali village

Boko Haram insurgents on Tuesday night struck in Mildo, Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing seven persons.
Available reports have it that the insurgents sneaked into the town on Tuesday night through Chakawa.
Apart from the seven persons killed, they also injured many and burnt several houses.
The seven killed were said have been beheaded.

Meanwhile, Adamawa State Government has confirmed the death of seven people in an early morning attack on Midlu village of Vapura ward in Madagali Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.
The community hosts Sukur World heritage site, which was destroyed by the insurgents in 2014.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Malam Ahmad Sajoh, confirmed the development to newsmen in Yola.
He said the insurgents attacked the village and killed six people while one of the attackers was also killed.
Sajoh said: “They (insurgents) attacked around 2 a.m killing six people while one of them was killed by hunters.
“Soldiers and hunters have dislodged them from the area.”
Meanwhile, the councillor representing the ward in Madagali Local Government Council, Bulus Dauda, told the News Agency of Nigeria that his people had vacated the area.
