Bamidele celebrates Oyebanji at 56, prays for divine guidance

The Leader of Senate, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, CON has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji on his 56th birthday, praying that God will continue to guide him divinely as he leads the state.

In a statement by his Directorate of Media and Public Affairs Thursday, Bamidele described Oyebanji as a truly humble and kind-hearted leader dedicated his life, resources and time to defending the cause of the downtrodden in Ekiti and beyond.

Bamidele added that since Oyebanji’s emergence as the governor of the state, he had consistently worked with Ekiti people across all socio-political strata, preaching peaceful coexistence in the state and promoting socio-political harmony statewide.

The statement said in part: “With all my heart, I celebrate my dear brother, friend, leader and Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as he graciously turns 56 today, December 21, 2023.

“Since your assumption of office on October 16, 2022, the people of Ekiti state can inhale fresh air. This is evident in the 2023 Nigerian Peace Index, which adjudges the state as one of the most peaceful and stable states in the federation.

“Indeed, you are a gift from God Almighty to the people of our dear state. At this trying time in the history of our fatherland, Ekiti people attest to diverse programmes and projects you have initiated to ensure the delivery of dividends of democracy to the downtrodden in the state.

“As I felicitate you, I pray God satisfies thee with longer life; grants thee unfailing memory and bless thee with enduring peace. I also pray that God will continue to strengthen you to deliver your electoral promises to the people of the state.”
