APC forecloses any immediate increase of petrol pump price

Senator John James AkpanUdoedehe, National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Committee has declared that the party is opposed to any immediate increase in the pump price of petroleum products, allaying fears Nigerians who engage ‘periodic panic buying’ of PMS, in anticipation of the increase of fuel price.

Senator AkpanUdoedehe said the party reach that position because of the ripple effect such an increase would have on the already haemorrhaging economy, stressing that the time was not right for any increase.

He made the disclosure during a media parley organized by APC Professionals , geared to systematically showcase laudable achievement of the party despite widespread criticism that the administration is a failure.
