AMOSUN LOSES TWO AIDES WITHIN FOUR DAYS INTERVAL
Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun is not in happy mood now, following the loss of two of his security aides within interval of four days.
The first victim, Wale Aderemi an officer of Department of State Services(DSS) attached to the governor’s convoy died in after a brief illness at a private hospital in Abeokuta.
The DSS official attached to the governor was admitted for typhoid, and died few days after he was discharged from hospital.
He was reported , to slumped in the toilet of his apartment,but couldn’t make it back to hospital
The remain of Aderemi as at the time of filing this report remains had being transported to his home town in Ekiti
Similarly,the second victim,Busoye Olayinka,an assistant superindent of police,popularly called ‘Robot’ died in an auto crash on Thursday night in Itori axis of Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway.
Olayinka,was said to be traveling with his younger brother whose name was not ascertained as at the time of filling this report. He also lost his life in the accident.
An eyewitness account has it that,Olayinka’s ash-coloured Nissan Premira with registration number, Lagos, PH 406 KJA crashed with a truck with registration number, Kwara, LEM 77 XA along the expressway.
The account further has it that,the truck,was reversing from the compound of Dolphin Steel Nig. Ltd into the highway before Olayinka’s vehicle crashed into it.
When contacted,Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps,Ogun State Command, Clement Oladele confirmed the incident, adding that the two victims were taken to the General Hospital in Ifo.
He recalled that the duo were unconscious as at the time the incident happened adding that more details would be released after investigation.
