Ameachi , Wife mark 25 years wedding anniversary at Orphanage

Minister of Transportation, Hon Chubuike Rotomi Ameachi and his wife Dame Judith yesterday celebrated their 25years marriage anniversary with children at the Hope for Survival Orphanage in Abuja .
The Hope for Survival orphanage is located in Gisihiri village , along Katampe Road , Jabi Abuja

The Minister and his wife who were represented by his Media Assistant, Isreal Ibeleme presented gifts of bags of rice, tubers of yams , laundry soaps, tissue paper and beverages to the children.

Ibeleme said, ” We are here on behalf of the family of Rt hon Chibuike Ameachi to celebrate with the children for Gods abundant blessings , fruitfulness and divine grace upon their family in the past 25years”

“One interesting thing about this family is their love and passion to give, they have changed the lives of so many Nigerians and still doing. we are here to pray for more fruitful years ahead for them, to celebrate with the children for what God have done in the life of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his beautiful family.”

Also speaking , the Special Assistant , Technical to Dame Judith Ameachi , Gazali Mohammed said: ” I have known him (the Minister) for a very long time and I have worked with him and I know that he does this alot. if there is something that attracts me to him is his passion for generosity to the less privilege.”
Responding, the Administrator , Hope for Survival Orphanage , Cephas Thaddeus expressed gratitude for the show of love and support by the Minister and his wife.

“We are short of words to show our appreciation to hon Ameachi. We congratulate them on this wonderful journey that God has seen them through.

“At times we wonder if the government really remembers these children because the turn out here is not encouraging but the minister visiting us has shown us that there are people out there that have them at heart.

“We are grateful to him and on behalf of the proprietress who is unavoidably absent and the children, we say a very big thank you and may God continue to bless their marriage..

Further speaking, he pointed out that the orphanage is faced with a myriad of challenges.

“One of the basic challenges we have is getting scholarship for these children. we have one of them who had to forfeit his admission because there wasn’t money to sponsor him.

“We are soliciting and praying that God will touch his life and other Nigerians to do more in the lives of these children,” he said.
