Alimosho APC leaders Deny Division reports

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Alimosho Federal Constituency in Lagos State came over the in large number to denounce rumours of division in their fold.
Amid singing and dancing at a conference at the Lagos West Senatorial Office of Senator Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi, in Ikeja, the leaders said the reports of division were figments of imagination of a section of the social media.
The leaders includes all six elected Council and LCDA chairmen and their vices, all six APC LGA chairmen and their secretaries, all APC ward chairmen, Hon. Femi Adebanjo representing Alimosho Federal Constituency,
two cabinet members in Lagos State namely Commissioner for Employment and Wealth Creation, Pharm. Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf and Special Adviser on Housing, Hon. Kehinde Joseph, the 28 Apex Leaders and Senator Adeola.
The party leaders affirmed their loyalty to APC stalwart Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola and others.
The conference, which turned out as a show of political strength of the leaders, took place to further reaffirm Ambode’s endorsement for second time by APC leaders and others which was earlier done in August last year.
Those who spoke at the conference include Adeola, Lagos State APC Organising Secretary Abdullahi Enilolomo, party leaders like Chief Solomon Ogundola, leader of the G-28 Apex Leaders, Chief Bisi Yusuf of the State House of Assembly, chairmen from the constituency’s 36 wards, six local government areas’ chairmen, six party chairmen, six leaders of councils’ houses, House of Representatives’ member representing the area, Leaders of Group 18, local government secretaries among others.
Enilolobo, who was the first to address the conference, said the party leaders were surprised by the social media reports that the APC members in the constituency were in disarray.
To show the true position of things in the party, he called out those who were aggrieved in the party to come out, but nobody came out.
Enilolobo, thereafter, started calling out the party leaders, who were members of the APC key organs in the constituency and they all came out to indicate they backed the party leaders’ position.
Their representatives were also called out to address the gathering and they in turn affirmed that APC was united in the constituency.
The APC Organising Secretary said the constituency was the first to endorse Ambode and thanked God that other constituency and senatorial districts have joined them.
Ogundola described the constituency as the most formidable and united in the state, stressing that they delivered for APC in the past and that they will still deliver for Ambode and the party in 2019.
