African Senior Wrestling Championships: Team Nigeria Arrive Tunisia in full force

It was a celebration galore as the first batch of Nigeria’s contingent to the 2019 African Senior Wrestling Championships holding at Hammamet, Tunisia, arrived at the venue of the tournament safely.
It could be recalled that the recent happening in the air transportation whereby Ethiopian Airlines carrying over one hundred passengers and crew members crashed and died few minutes after taken off, as this development has created fear in the heart of air passengers since then.
The Nigerian delegation led by President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) Hon. Daniel Igali, arrived Tunis at about 11:00hrs local time before proceeding to a Hammamet on road trip covering 66km.
However, the country female wrestlers are billed to compete on Saturday, March 30th, while their male counterparts will take to the mat a day later at the championship which started on March 6th, and it will come to an end on March 31th.
