3SC Coach dies during training

Tragedy struck on Monday morning as Akin Olowokere, the newly appointed Assistant Coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan, Oyo State, collapsed and died during a training session.
Olowokere, one of the recent additions to the 3SC technical crew following the exit of the Gbenga Ogunbote-led team, reportedly slumped on the pitch mid-training and was quickly rushed to the hospital.
Despite swift medical intervention, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
At the time of reporting, the cause of his sudden death had not been officially disclosed.
Eyewitnesses at the training ground recounted that the incident happened unexpectedly, prompting immediate efforts to revive him before he was taken to a nearby, yet undisclosed, medical facility.
A respected figure in Nigerian football, Olowokere was a former player for Sunshine Stars of Akure and later returned to the club in a coaching capacity. Before joining 3SC, he worked under head coach Edith Agoye as an assistant.
Soft-spoken and deeply passionate about the game, his sudden passing has left the football community in shock.
