Wike’s Aide Mocks Amaechi Over 2027 Election Boast
ere Olayinka, Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has ridiculed former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, for claiming he could unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Amaechi made the bold statement during a public discussion on an X Space, saying he knew how to defeat the incumbent president.
Responding in a series of posts on X, Olayinka questioned how Amaechi could take on Tinubu after repeatedly losing political battles to Wike.
Describing the former minister as a “jester,” Olayinka wrote:
“Hungry man Amaechi was a sitting governor in 2015 when Wike defeated him.
Hungry man Amaechi was a minister in 2019 when Wike defeated him.
Hungry man Amaechi had just left office in 2023 when Wike defeated him again.
Now this same hungry man says he can defeat Tinubu, a sitting president.”
He further taunted Amaechi by recalling his loss to Tinubu in the APC presidential primary of 2022, adding sarcastically: “Just the way he defeated Tinubu in 2022, right? Alawada.com.”
