Winners emerge in Bible Quiz Competition

Winners have emerged in the second edition of the Bible Quiz Competition organised by the National Bible Bee Nigeria, at Upper Room Baptist Church, Ketu, Lagos State.

In the second edition of the quiz competition tagged ‘Bible Bee’, held Saturday inside the church premises, Miss Deborah Odumosu emerges the winner in the junior category while Badejo Praise came first in the senior category.

For her effort, Miss Odumosu went home with the sum of N25,000 and lots of books while Paise got N100,000 for his effort.

The organiser of the programme, Mrs Glory Ige said the competition was put together to enable kids imbibe the culture of reading the Bible while also impacting good morals at the same time.

She said that the second edition was motivated following the successes recorded in the first edition held last year and that the competition has come to stay.

Mrs Ige said that she felt encouraged to put the programme together for the benefit of the kids and called on corporate organizations to identify with the competition so that the children would feel loved and encouraged to study their Bible and other biblical literatures.
