Wike place N5million ransome on PDP youth leader
River State government has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader in Eleme Local Government, Mr Princewill Osaroejiji, wanted.
This was contained in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr Paulinus Nsirim.
The LGA taskforce gave Prudent and Etemeteh Hotels the go ahead order to operate even with the lockdown.
The state taskforce got the information and moved to enforce the lockdown order only for the manager of one of the hotels to put a call across to the LGA taskforce led by the wanted PDP youth leader. They responded and descended on the state taskforce members.
The taskforce reported the matter to their leader who then called the governor.
Less than two hours later, the government ordered for the demolition of the hotels and declared the PDP youth leader wanted.
Mr. Princewill is said to have had criminal records before he was elected PDP youth leader.
It will be recalled that Gov. Nyesom Wike recently ordered the closure of all hotels operating in the state as a means to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
