Why RCCG gives scholarship to a teenage member- Pastor Balogun

As part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) corporate
social responsibility to humanity, the Pastor in Charge of Region 13
(PICR), Pastor Oladele Abiodun Balogun has give reason for announcing
a year scholarship award for a teenage member of the church at his new
posting, Benin City on Sunday.
Pastor Balogun who was amazed with the way the nine year old sister
Precious Enaruna from Heroes of Faith Parish, Province One, Benin City
recited the history of the RCCG accurately and correctly without
missing a word made the pronouncement during the welcome service
organized by the Region in his honour, and the Assistance Pastor in
Charge of the Region (APICR), Pastor Bode Rotimi Olojede held recently
at the Region 13 headquarters, Trinity Sanctuary Parish, Benin City.
The immediate past PICR 21, Oyo State when thanking the Almighty God
for the privilege to serve in Edo State said: “For the young girl that
recited the history of RCCG, when she was reciting it, I was deeply
touched because there are some elders in the church who do not even
know the history of RCCG, and I want to thank God for the live of that
young girl, sister Precious Enaruna for reciting the history of the
RCCG correctly and accurately without missing a word.
“And as the Pastor in Charge of Region 13, I want to announce a
scholarship award to her for reciting the history correctly and
accurately. This scholarship award will cover the period of 2017/2018
academic session. I think such young child should be encouraged so
that others too will learn from that aspect.”
In a phone chat with her mother, Sister Daisy Enaruna, she thanked
and gave glory to Almighty God for the gesture bestowed on her, adding
that her daughter is such a talented girl born with inbuilt talented
to attain greater heights in live. “She is an intelligent girl and
very talented, having gone out of the country for a talent show before
is a plus in her career. She is just nine years old going to resume
JSS 1 at Divine Wisdom Group of School, Benin City.”
