We will resist another invasion of Lagos -COSEG warns

Just as proponents of the endsars protest are planning to occupy Lekki toll gate on Saturday,a warning has been handed down to them to desist from such plans as it will be resisted vehemently as Lagos remain the economic nerve centre of the Yoruba race.  
According to a press statement signed by it’s Chairman and Publicity Secretary of the Coordinating Committee,Comrades Dayo Ogunlana and Dele Daramola ” we are refrained from reacting to the planned  protest by some people at Lekki because they wanted to understand why they planned the protest. COSEG said ” we are alarmed by the threat by Nnamdi Kanu  to destroy the peace of Lagos and  bring down  the economic growth of Lagos again which went down seriously during  the last ENDSARS protest.
We have been quiet for some time just to really understand the reason behind the invasion.
The group therefore warned Nnamdi  Kanu and others  to stay clear of Lekki and other parts of Lagos and  stop the planned invasion or be confronted as they promised to stop them if they refuse.
COSEG said” We shall not thread softly if Kanu and his Co travellers tried to move near Lekki for any invasion or protest. We shall defend Lagos at all cost and will not allow any disgruntled elements who have been trying to find opportunities to bring down Lagos.If there are  issues to be settled,they should go to the table and not to methodologically bring down Lagos because of envy or jealousy of Lagos being the commercial nerve centre  of Nigeria and the role Lekki is playing in a new Lagos”.
The group concluded by indicating to be in Lekki on Saturday to defend against the invasion of Lagos and warned any invading group to stay clear of Lekki.COSEG said” we must inform you all that COSEG and it’s allies will storm Lekki on Saturday to defend the invasion of the commercial nerve of the yorubas. We shall stand by and protect our heritage and add our vocal voice to protect Lekki from it’s destruction by Nnamdi Kanu and his Co travellers and others who have a hidden agenda against Lagos”
