We Hear Your Cries- Osinbajo Tells Nigeria

Following a nationwide protest over the economic situation of the country, Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has said that the present administration under the leadership Muhammadu Buhari on has heard the cries of Nigerians.
Osinbajo stated this on Monday at a Consultative Forum on the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan held at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to Osinbajo the country is in a serious economic situation, adding that the present government under Buhari who is currently on medical vacation, promised that we would ensure all Nigerians get a fair deal
He said he had gone round the country and was aware of the protests planned by Nigerians over how difficult things were in the country.
Osinbajo said while Nigerians have the right to live well, the government was committed to making that happen.
According to the acting president, it is the duty of the government to put the economy on the path to sustainable growth.
He said the involvement of the private sector was fundamental to the government’s approach to economic planning.
