We have the capacity to treat COVID-19 patient- Akeredolu

Ondo Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has ruled out taking the COVID-19 patient in the state to Lagos for treatment.

Governor Akeredolu said the state has the capacity to treat the patient, who is a military officer that just returned from India.

Akeredolu, who spoke in Akure at a world press conference, said contact tracing for the patient has begun.

He stated that the contact tracing has been confined to the military barrack as the patient was in self isolation since he returned from India.

The Ondo Governor said he planned to build five isolation centres across the state.
