Video: Protest distrupt Atiku’s meeting in US, “You can’t spoil Nigeria for the second time” one shouted

A former Nigerian Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who is the leading opposition candidate in Nigeria’s presidential election next month endured a difficult last day in the US after he was verbally abused by some Nigerians during one of his scheduled meeting
A video has emerged of the moment when some Nigerians resident in the US disrupted his meeting on the ground that someone like him should never be allowed to vie for political office again after what they described as many years of bad leadership
In the video currently trending online some persons were seen arguing while others were just milling around . Someone in the background, probably the man who recorded the ugly development said “set of criminals, they want to go and spoil Nigeria again for the second time. It’s not going to be possible. You Can’t.”
According to available information, the protest took place around the premises of the Presidential Ballroom in the US.
The video is an ugly development for a man keen to show and display to the world a level of acceptability by Nigerians across board
Atiku stepped foot for the first time in the US after more than 10 years on January 17, 2019, accompanied by Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Prior to this, he hadn’t stepped on American soil for well over a decade dating back to his vice presidency, allegedly due to the belief that he would be arrested for allegations of corruption, including one by US congressman Williams Jefferson that part of the $100,000 cash found in his refrigerator was intended as bribe for Atiku for his role in helping American firm iGate secure a contract to expand broadband in Nigeria.
