VETERAN JOURNALIST,LEKAN ALABI NOMINATES AS CULTURAL AMBASSADOR

A veteran journalist and Ibadan High Chief,Olooye Lekan Alabi has been nominated as Cultural Ambassador of the National Museum.
According to letter of nomination reference number AF 333/IFM/XV11/1351 dated March 29,2017,said the nomination is for Ile-Ife of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments.
The letter was signed by Mr J.O Ogundele,explaining that the Ife museum accommodates one of the best exhibition galleries in Nigeria
The Ambassador designate while speaking with Journalists said,the formal presentation of insignia of office will hold soon in Ile-Ife,Osun State.
‘I am, therefore,putting our friends and well-wishers on notice to prepare and to kindly accompany us to the formal presentation in Ile-Ife’,he said

Alabi added, ‘It is with humility and gratitude to God that I share the happy news of my Nomination As Cultural Ambassador Of the National Museum,Ile-Ife of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments vide its letter AF. 333/IFM/ΧV11/1351 of 29th March,2017’
‘While I have since accepted the honour with humility and appreciation,I believe it is appropriate that I inform my two professional constituencies – the NUJ and the NIPR of this recognition’,the veteran journalist emphasised.
