VC appoints Abdullahi Yahaya Bello pioneer Ag Director of Public Affairs
The Vice-Chancellor Federal University Dutse, Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed has approved the appointment of Malam Abdullahi Yahaya Bello, ANIPR, as the Pioneer Acting Director of Public Affairs of the University with effect from 1st March 2025.
The VC, in the appointment letter signed by the University Registrar, Alhaji Abubakar Mijinyawa, FCIA congratulated the appointee and prayed to Allah to grant him success in discharging his new responsibilities.
Brief Profile
Mal. Abdullahi graduated from the Department of Political Science, Bayero University, Kano in the year 2000. He has 25 years’ post-graduation experience as a Class Teacher, Journalist, University Administrator and Public Relations Manager.
He single-handedly established the Information and Public Relations Unit of the University in 2012 as the Pioneer University Public Relations Officer (PRO). He rose through the ranks to become the Pioneer Deputy Director of the Information and Public Relations Unit in 2023 before his current appointment as the Pioneer Ag, Director, Directorate of Public Affairs, Federal University Dutse.
He has attended many Media and Public Relations Trainings, Conferences and Workshops. He is an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Member, Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ), Member, Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and Member, Institute of Registered Administrative Managers of Nigeria (IRAMN).
