Updated: Breaking: 26 members of Boko Haram group surrenders to Nigerian Army + photos
Twenty-six Boko Haram members have surrendered to the Nigerian Army in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The surrendered insurgents were paraded today, Friday in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Prior to the parade, the repentant offenders had been interrogated by the military.
They Nigerian Army stated that the insurgents surrendered last week and turned in arms and ammunition, after which they were taken to Maiduguri for deradicalizsation.
