University dropout commits suicide in Ekiti

A young man from Aragba street Omuo Oke Ekiti name withheld has reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself.

We could not ascertain what pushed him towards taken his own life as his death remain a mastery.

It was gathered that his parents and residents of the community woke up to meet his lifeless body dangling from the roof where he hung himself.

According to an anonymous member of the community, the young man who is about 28years of age was a student of one of the universities in the state but suddenly dropped out for no reason.

He was said to have also attempted death last year by taking poison but he was quickly rushed to the hospital where he was treated.

Another source told our correspondent that the deceased had cut a 4 year old child with axe before he killed himself.

The source claimed that the deceased may have killed himself on the fear of the consequence of his action.
