UNGA Conference 2020 Holds September 23rd

The 5th Annual United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Conference has been slated to hold virtually on September 23rd, 2020 at 10am – 4:00pm EST during the debate.

The event is being organized by the Ufuk Dialogue Foundation, Journalists and Writers Foundation in collaboration with 35 Global Partners from 24 countries.

It will commenced in America-New York (10am-4pm); Europe (16:00-22:00); Africa (17:00-23:00); Asia (19:30-1:30), and Australia (24:00-6:00) respectively.

This year’s theme ‘Transforming Our World: Five Years of Action Towards the SDGs’ is aimed to review the implementation process and progress of the Global Agenda 2030 for sustainable peace and development.

Distinguished high-level speakers and panelists from different parts of the world will discuss, analyze, and evaluate the progress made since the adoption of the SDGs in 2015.

There will be three different panels at the event. The first panel is ‘Women Empowerment And Gender Equality’, the second panel is ‘Implementing SDG Goal #16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions’ while the last panel is ‘Lessons learned from COVID-19 Pandemic: Evolving Social And Economic Development For Sustainability’.

A greater involvement leads to a transformative change for sustainable development.

A people-centered and planet-friendly blueprint for shared global progress is our goal to expand our vision and facilitate the timely implementation of the SDGs, which recognizes the mission of “Leaving No One Behind.”
