u-20 World Cup: Senegal sends Flying Eagles packing advance into quarterfinals
Senegal on Monday evening eliminated Nigeria’s Flying Eagles from the ongoing U20 World Cup in Poland to advance to the quarterfinals of the competition.
The Senegalese scored two first-half goals through Sagna in the 36th minute and added another in extra through Niane. Nigeria’s Makanjuola pulled one back from a free kick in the 50th minute of the match.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of the Senegalese.
