Trump is right, Nigeria is  a shithole

The English dictionary defines shithole as a dirty, unpleasant and a shabby place. The world is not furious with President Trump because what he said was not right, but because in diplomatic circles,  decorum and civility is what constitute diplomacy not truth.

Now to whether for instance , Nigeria is a shithole or not; what we need to ask is are truly   shabby, dirty or an unpleasant country. In my opinion, we are not only shabby, dirty and unpleasant , but we are physically, spiritually, humanly and politically shithole. Nigeria is a country where nothing works but nepotism, kleptomanism, incompetency and stark confusion in all facets of our national life. A country where after over 60 years of independence still has no electricity, no reliable livelihood for millions of citizens and nothing works but failure and gullibility is surely a shithole.

Not only is Nigeria a shithole country, it is one of the few countries where a government will plant  dangerous divisive seeds among it poeple deliberately. Where thousands of citizens  will be.murdered by the state and buried in mass graves wth impunity and pride. A country where only those with relatives get opportunity to employment and a country where renown public looters are celebrated and worshipped. It is one of the few countries were social infrastructure is non existence, where official assassination is a government policy and where gullible citizens blindly follow their incompetent leaders without questioning. This is a country where a Senator who was caught in a vedio with harlots  proudly boast of right to privacy at a time when men in high places were forced to resign for pestering only in some climes. This is a country where an army chief with choice assorted assets and who killed  over a 1000 innocent men, children, the aged and the  vulnerable is honored and called a ‘Mujahideen’ by some so called Islamic scholars. A country where only crooks with ill-gotten money can become Governors, Ministers and political leaders. A country where fellow citizens lack the basic understanding about their constitutional rights and how to demand for it. A country where death, poverty, kidnapping, communal conflicts, and failure of governance is astronomically manifesting but is seen by majority as success. A country where all these examples given are our lowest and simplest shitholes we daily live with. I think Trump is economical with the truth. He was diplomatic and for the first time in his one year in office, he seems politically mature for calling a spade a spade. Can someone tell me where Mr Trump is wrong ?
