Trump Claims Khamenei Killed, Signals Ongoing Military Action in Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is dead, describing the development as a form of “justice” and a turning point for both Iran and the United States.
In a forceful statement, Trump accused Khamenei of orchestrating violence that led to numerous deaths globally, branding him as one of history’s most dangerous figures. He said the operation that reportedly led to the Iranian leader’s death was executed using advanced U.S. intelligence capabilities in coordination with Israeli forces.
Trump further claimed that several top Iranian officials were also eliminated during the strikes. According to him, members of Iran’s security establishment, including the Revolutionary Guard, are showing signs of hesitation and are seeking ways to avoid further conflict.
He urged Iranian forces to align with what he called “patriots” working toward reclaiming the country, suggesting that the situation presents an opportunity for major political change in Tehran.
The U.S. president added that military operations would continue for as long as necessary, stating that the objective is to secure broader peace across the Middle East.
The announcement follows heightened tensions after joint U.S.–Israeli attacks on Iranian targets. However, Iranian authorities have not officially confirmed reports of Khamenei’s death.
