Tinubu to Receive APC Certificate of Return, Party Flag for 2027 Presidential Election

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is set to officially receive the certificate of return and the flag of the ruling All Progressives Congress as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the presentation ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The event will follow the nationwide collation of results from the APC presidential primary election conducted across the country.

The statement noted that APC governors, members of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), National Working Committee (NWC), lawmakers from the National Assembly, and other party stakeholders are expected to attend the ceremony.

The presentation of the certificate and party flag formally confirms President Tinubu as the APC’s standard bearer for the 2027 presidential election.
