Tinubu Promotes African Renaissance at Africa CEOs Forum
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated the need for stronger African institutions and regional economic champions to drive the continent’s growth and development.
Speaking at the Africa CEOs Forum, President Tinubu described the vision for the continent as an “African Renaissance” anchored on resilient institutions, economic cooperation and homegrown enterprises capable of competing globally.
The President stressed that Africa must strengthen intra-African partnerships, deepen economic integration and create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive across borders.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President emphasised that sustainable development on the continent would depend on visionary leadership, innovation and strategic collaboration among African nations.
Tinubu noted that Nigeria remains committed to policies that encourage investment, industrialisation and regional trade, while positioning the country as a leading economic force on the continent.
He also called on African business leaders, policymakers and development partners to work together in building competitive African enterprises capable of transforming the continent’s economy and improving the lives of its people.
The President’s participation at the forum forms part of ongoing efforts by his administration to strengthen economic diplomacy and promote Nigeria’s leadership role in Africa.
