Tinubu Names Uba Sani Renewed Hope Ambassador, Deputy DG for Party Mobilisation
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General in charge of party outreach, engagement and mobilisation.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a State House press release issued on Tuesday.
According to the statement, President Tinubu, in his capacity as leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), selected Governor Sani in recognition of his leadership qualities and organisational competence.
In his new role, Sani is expected to collaborate closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative and the APC leadership, particularly the party’s National Chairman, to foster unity, inclusiveness and coordinated mobilisation efforts across all levels.
The President charged the governor with driving awareness and promotion of the party’s policies, programmes and key achievements, with a view to deepening public trust and strengthening the Renewed Hope message across the country.
In a letter conveying the appointment, Tinubu stated that the overarching goal is to ensure Nigerians are well-informed about the party’s vision and are mobilised to support its candidates at all levels ahead of the 2027 general elections. He emphasised that early preparation and strategic leadership would be critical to achieving broad national acceptance.
The statement was signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
