Tinubu Marks 74th Birthday, Expresses Gratitude to Nigerians

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed appreciation to Nigerians for their goodwill messages and support as he celebrates his 74th birthday, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to national development and ongoing reforms.
In a message addressed to citizens on the occasion, the President thanked Nigerians for their prayers, solidarity, and patriotism, noting that their continued support remains vital to the success of his government.
Tinubu also acknowledged individuals and groups who placed congratulatory messages in newspapers and sponsored radio and television broadcasts in his honour, describing the gestures as deeply appreciated.
He extended special gratitude to the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind words, as well as to Vice President Kashim Shettima for his commendation.
The President stated that, in line with his longstanding tradition, he opted to celebrate the birthday quietly in consideration of the current national mood.
Reflecting on his administration’s journey, Tinubu acknowledged the challenges faced since the introduction of key reforms but expressed optimism that the sacrifices made by Nigerians were beginning to yield positive results. He added that recent progress signals “light at the end of the tunnel,” despite setbacks linked to the ongoing Middle East crisis.
He emphasized that the achievements recorded so far are a collective effort involving his administration, the Renewed Hope team, and the Nigerian people.
