Tinubu Congratulates Adeleke

… Says Osun Victory Affirms Democracy’s Growth

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election, describing the victory as a strong indication that democracy will continue to flourish in Nigeria.

The President said Adeleke’s victory reflected the confidence the people of Osun State have in his leadership, following the governorship election held in the state.

Tinubu disclosed that he had earlier called Adeleke to congratulate him on his electoral success and wished him a successful second term in office.

He urged the governor to use his renewed mandate to unite the people of Osun State, irrespective of their political affiliations or choices during the election.

“Now that he has won, Governor Adeleke must unite the people of Osun State and rally them for growth, stability, and social and economic progress, regardless of the political choices they made at the election,” the President said.

Tinubu also commended the other contestants for the courage and discipline they displayed throughout the electoral process, noting that their participation contributed to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic culture.

According to him, the outcome of the election represents the will of the people and provides further assurance that democracy remains firmly rooted in the country.

The President equally praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for conducting what he described as a peaceful and transparent election that produced a clear winner.
