Tinubu appoints Enugu Commissioner as Minister following Mbah’s defection to APC

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Kingsley Udeh, the Enugu State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, as a Minister in his administration.

The announcement, shared on Tuesday via a WhatsApp platform of the Enugu State Government, comes just three weeks after Governor Peter Mbah defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The message announcing the appointment read in part:

“Governor Peter Mbah is connecting Ndi Enugu to the centre.
It’s more development, more dividends of democracy. APC all the way.
Ndi Enugu, this is why we ALL MUST support APC and Governor Mbah’s leadership.”
