Three school children burnt in a school bus, driver, mechanic at large

Three School children from Little Jen’s Nursery and Primary school Trade Moore Estate, Lugbe, Abuja was on Thursday burnt to death.

According to eyewitness report, the driver of the school was said to have bought fuel in a jerry can and put it inside the bus which was conveying the school children to their respective homes.

Our source reports that after dropping two students off, the bus developed fault and the driver went in-search for a mechanic, leaving the remaining children in the bus.

Upon returning with the mechanic, while attempting to start the bus it catches fire with the three children burnt to death.

According to our sources, the driver and the mechanic are currently at large.

Efforts to get the school authority’s response proved abortive as no one was ready to comment.
