Philip Shaibu, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, has been elected the gubernatorial candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State in the parallel party primaries which was conducted on Thursday. Shaibu was declared the party’s candidate for the September 21, 2024 governorship
