Wike Receives Late Senator Mpigi’s Remains in Abuja

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Monday morning received the remains of Senator Barinada Mpigi at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Mpigi, who represented Rivers South-East Senatorial District, passed away in London on February 19, 2026, at the age of 64.
