Sweet Estate Donates Operation Vehicle To NTA, Abeokuta

The management if Sweet Estate Unique Properties and Facility Management Limited has donated an operation vehicle to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The presentation of the vehicle, Toyota Camry model held at the NTA office, Ogbe, Abeokuta was performed by the Chairman of the organization, Chief Bidemi Falola and it was witnessed by dignitaries to appreciate the donor.
Dignitaries at the event were General Manager, Paramount FM, Prince Niyi Odekunle; Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Sector Command, Ahmed Umar; Publisher, Penpushing Media Limited, Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji; Mr. Sunday Ogunsola, aka Tantala, the facilitator; Staff of NTA led by the General Manager, Mrs. Funmi Wakama, and host of others.
In her address, Mrs. Wakama appreciated the Chairman of Sweet Estate, Chief Falolal for the kind gesture when she was least expecting such donation.
She stressed that the day event has brought the station back to its vision and mission of returning the station to the pride of place in the comity of broadcastings in Nigeria.
She said: “NTA, Abeokuta has enjoying tremendous support from stakeholders. Only last week, we received wash hands basin from Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority drilled borehole by solar panel donated it to the station and its immediate community.
“Our appreciation also goes to Ogbe community as they apprehended a suspected vandals who came through the back to dig up water pipes, he was arrested and taken to the police station.”
However, Mrs. Wakama went down memory lane on how she met the donor, Chief Falola through the facilitator last year when they were planing for the 40 years anniversary of the station, as well the promise of the operational vehicle few months ago to mark her third years in office.
She hereby urged government, corporate bodies and well meaning individuals to copy from the donor, and emulate his generosity and support to the NTA, Abeokuta.
She promised that the gesture by Sweet Estate to the station would propel them to continue to serve the people of the state better and stronger than before, adding that they would make judicious use of the vehicle to the glory of the Almighty God.
In his address, Chief Falola advised stakeholders to render any kinds of assistance at their disposals to improve and motivate staff of an organisation. He urged all other parastatals to know that his company is in to estate property and management, and have over five thousand customers within three years of its establishment.
Also, Sector Commander praised the GM for showing appreciation to the donor by organising such an elaborate ceremony to appreciate the gesture. He added that though they were both staff of the Federal Government, but will continue to work for the betterment of the people  and government of Ogun State at all times.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the car keys and documents to the NTA GM by Chief Falola, while Commander Umar did the cutting of the ribbon tape as well as supervising the test driving of the car by the GM alongside other occupants within the premises.
