Swear-in Abiola posthumously- Mohammed Adamu urges Buhari
A foremost jpurnalist, Mohammed Adamu has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to posthumously and symbolically swear-in winner of June 12, 1993 Presidential election, late Chief MKO Abiola.
Mohammed said the only way Buhari would have wright the wrongs is to give the late business mogul a full presidential feat, stressing that what has been done so far was just half of the reconciliation.
He called on the federal government to compel Independent National Elelctoral Commission INEC to declare the results of the June 12 Presidential election.
Speaking on political platform, a radio programme aired on Raypower FM and monitored on Wednesday, Mohammed who was a journalist with the defunct concord newspaper owned by MKO, thanked Buhari for the honour done to Abiola and other June 12 heroes.
He also called on the government to declare the era of interim government headed by Chief Ernest Shonekan and that of late Gen. Sani Abach as non and void, adding those years should be regarded as era of Abiola.
