SWAN Commences Revalidation, Registration Of Members In Ogun

It is a new dawn as Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State chapter commenced revalidation and registration of both old and new members respectively.
The exercise which is for both full and associate members of the association in the state began from Friday, August 28th till October 31st, 2020.
This was stated in a statement by SWAN scribe, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji and made available to sports writers in Abeokuta, calling on its members in the state to revalidate their membership status within the stipulated period.
Ogunsiji urged members to contact the SWAN secretary or visit the secretariat at Wing C of the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto in Abeokuta to upgrade their membership status.
He admitted that the exercise would allow the secretariat to have comprehensive list of its members in the state.
“The association also calls on qualified, but practising sports writers and presenters in the state who wish to join the association to obtain their membership form at the SWAN secretariat.
“Any member who fails to register or update his/her membership status on/or before the stipulated time stands disqualified from the association,” Ogunsiji noted.
