Suspected killers of ex-CBN staff, family arrested

Suspected killers of a couple – Kehinde Fatinoye and Bukola Fatinoye –  in Abeokuta Ogun State, on January 1, 2023, have been arrested by operatives of Ogun State Police Command.

The arrest was confirmed on Thursday by the spokesman of the police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in telephone interview with our correspondent.

It would be recalled that after killing the couple, the criminals killed their only surviving son, Fatinoye, who they threw into a river.

According to the police spokesman, Lekan Adekanbi, the prime suspect said to have earlier escaped from police custody and two other suspects had already been  apprehended.

Mr Kehinde was a Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, staff while his wife worked with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB.
