Strike: Presidency, lawmakers insist Muhammadu Buhari will present 2019 budget on Wednesday
The Presidency and federal lawmakers have insisted that the presentation of the 2019 budget presentation by President Muhammadu Buhari as scheduled will still hold on Wednesday despite the ongoing strike of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria.
The Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters (Senate) to the President, Senator Ita Enang, made this known while speaking with newsmen in the National Assembly complex.
According to Enang, there is positive signal that the 2019 budget presentation will still hold.
Also, Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, said no amount of strike will stop the budget presentation on Wednesday.
