South West Group, Mandate Protection Vanguard congratulate Atiku
A South west based political pressure group, Mandate Protection Vanguard (MPV) has congratulated the former Vice president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa, on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded National convention of the party, held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
In a press release signed by its spokesperson, Hon. Celestine Eronmonsele, and made available to journalists on Monday in Lagos, MPV stated that the emergence of Atiku will invariably put the ruling APC on its toes, as Atiku remains a force to be reckoned with Socially and politically in Nigeria.
According to MPV “we wish to congratulate former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the standard flagbearer of the PDP. He is tested, trusted, and reliable, who has passion for the development of the country and her citizens. His emergence has rekindled hope in this troubled country, and will definitely give the ruling party a run for its money, and put its on its toes.
MPV equally congratulate the Director General of the Atiku, Campaign Organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, for a job well done, in bringing his administrative and political experience to bear during the campaign for the party’s ticket.
Finally, the group promised to mobilise critically throughout the South West, aligning with other Pro Atiku campaign organisations, and networking, to ensure that the former Vice President emerges victorious in the forthcoming Presidential election in February 2019.
